The Luxembourg Institute for Global Financial Integrity (LIGFI) is pleased and honored to announce that Mr. David Wright, Deputy Director of the Internal Market and Services Directorate General   will be the Guest Speaker at its seventh monthly lunch on Wednesday, 14th of July 2010 at the Cercle Munster. Mr. Wright will speak on “The Financial Crisis: Lessons for financial regulation”.

In providing an informal setting, the purpose of LIGFI’s Luxembourg Monthly Finance Lunch is to address current issues of interest and concern pertaining to the global financial industry and to encourage open and constructive dialogue on such matters among all stakeholders of and to the financial sector. LIGFI’s vocation is to promote professional excellence, ethics and integrity. The core principles of integrity sought to establish in finance are fairness, transparency, responsibility and accountability. Its focus is corporate financial governance, financial market integrity and regulatory and investor protections.

 

As usual, the LIGFI monthly lunch event at the Cercle Munster, 5-7 rue Munster, Luxembourg City, will begin at 11:30 h and end at 14:00 h. The Guest Speaker will commence at 12:15 h.
